Thereβs something magical about gathering around a table surrounded by nature, and this dinner party was the perfect example. Hosted on a local flower farm, the evening celebrated not only the beauty of the blooms but also the bounty of the land. The floristβwho I am lucky to work with oftenβwanted to share the heart of her farm with the people she loves most, inviting family and close friends for an unforgettable meal under the summer sky.
The chef curated a menu that was as fresh as it was flavorful, sourcing ingredients directly from the farm itself and other local growers. Each dish told the story of the season, showcasing vibrant produce and thoughtful preparation that highlighted the beauty of eating locally.
We had so much fun preparing for this gathering, pulling together vintage china that added a sense of charm and character to the tablescape. Soft candlelight flickered as the sun set over the fields, and heartfelt toasts carried through the night as guests raised their glasses to friendship, family, and the farmβs beauty.
It was an evening full of laughter, warmth, and connectionβa true reminder of the simple joys that come with sharing a meal in a place so full of life and love. From the gorgeous blooms surrounding us to the incredible food on the table, every detail of the night felt special and intentional.
